Congratulations Chloe Brindley, BCBA
Massive congratulations & well done to Chloe Brindley who yesterday passed her exam to become a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst.
Chloe was inspired to study applied behaviour analysis after learning about the science during her undergraduate psychology degree studies. After completing a Masters Degree at Bangor University Chloe joined Green Light’s Behaviour Analyst Internship. Here Chloe gained the 1,500 hours of supervised clinical experience under a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst whilst working alongside a number of Green Light’s teams supporting adults with learning disabilities. Chloe is currently working alongside Helen Kendall at Huthnance Park a home for three adults with learning disabilities, between Hayle and Helston. Together Chloe, Helen and the Huthnance team are providing personalised support to nurture prosocial skills like choice-making with the intention that these skills eventually come to replace harmful behaviours an individual may have come to rely on historically to have their needs met.
Green Light’s PBS team of behaviour analysts are members of the UKSBA voluntary register of behaviour analysts This requires disclosure and barring service (DBS) check, current safeguarding training, valid insurance, evidence of continuing professional development, and a commitment to working ethically and professionally and adhering to UK statutory standards. Consumers and members of the public can search the register to ensure that individuals offering behaviour support have the correct training and credentials to do so.
