Property Wanted

GREEN LIGHT
EST. CORNWALL 2010

A steady, reliable way to rent your propertyโ€”while making a real difference in Cornwall

Are you a landlord looking for a steady, reliable alternative to short-term holiday changeovers and empty winter months? Talk to us about leasing your property long-term. We transform local houses into safe, well maintained homes for young adults with autism and learning disabilities, providing you with absolute peace of mind while supporting lives right here in Cornwall.

Property Wanted

If you choose to lease property in Cornwall to a partner you can trust, finding a stable arrangement is everything. Since opening our first home in 2011, we have gone from strength to strength, creating beautiful family-sized homes, flats, and apartments across Cornwall for over 50 people and jobs for over 250 local people.

We are currently looking for new homes to lease across Cornwall. We are particularly interested in detached bungalows or houses in rural or quiet areas that feature private gardens, dedicated parking, and offer a high level of privacy from neighbouring homes. Homes in or near our existing homes would be of particular interest โ€” see our homes on Google Maps

๐Ÿ•’

A long-term commitment

We rent properties for a minimum of five years (often much longer) to give the people we support a secure, stable place to call home. For you, this means steady rental income with no gaps or agency fees.

๐Ÿ”

Looked after like our own

Our homes are registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC). Because of this, we are legally and professionally required to keep your property to an exceptionally high standard of safety, cleanliness, and repair.

๐Ÿ“„

We handle the day-to-day

We take care of all the management, compliance, and tenant support. You sign a direct commercial lease with us, receive your rent reliably on time, and leave the daily details in our hands.

What our landlord partners say

“Any landlord understands the constant background worry of empty periods or unexpected damage. My experience with Green Light was a lesson in how straightforward landlording can be when there is mutual respect. Across all five properties, rent has always been paid on time, without exception. This consistency allowed me to transition into retirement with absolute peace of mind.”

โ€” A long-term partner since 2009

“We’ve been working with Green Light for nearly seven years and, looking back, it’s been a really positive relationship. From day one they’ve been easy to work with. Communication has always been good… They take good care of the property, pay a fair rent, and the rent has always been paid on time. That consistency gives us real peace of mind.”

How we protect and preserve your asset day-to-day

When you decide to lease property in Cornwall to a registered care provider like Green Light, you are entering a partnership built on mutual care and security. Because our homes must meet the strict environmental, safety, and hygiene standards expected by industry regulator, the Care Quality Commission (CQC), our maintenance teams inspect the building layout, heating systems, and gardens.

Unlike a standard domestic tenancy where minor wear-and-tear might go unnoticed for months, any maintenance need in a Green Light home is addressed immediately by professionals. This proactive care keeps the environment homely and welcoming for the residents, ensures absolute safety, and actively safeguards your property’s long-term capital value, saving you from expensive end-of-tenancy refits.

What we are currently looking for

To make sure our residents feel safe, relaxed, and truly part of the local community, we are actively looking for properties in Cornwall that fit these specific needs:

๐Ÿก

Detached properties

Bungalows or houses that offer plenty of privacy and quiet space for residents to thrive.

๐Ÿ›๏ธ

At least 4 bedrooms

So our residents have their own spacious rooms, with extra space for our sleep-in support team.

๐Ÿ“

Near the Newquay area

Ideally within a 20-mile radius, so our teams are close to our central training and management hub.

๐Ÿš—

Good driveway parking

Space for at least 3 cars, so family visits and staff changeovers never crowd local street parking.
