The event followed nearly 1,200 total nominations, with over 100 for Green Light alone, submitted by colleagues, families, and loved ones across our teams this year.
Green Light received nominations for Care Provider of the Year, Team of the Year, eight Hidden Treasure nominations, and well-deserved individual recognition for Support Worker of the Year and Registered Manager of the Year.

A Green Light trainer—who wishes to remain anonymous—won the Learning Champion of the Year award for their extraordinary contribution to staff induction training.
As a co-trainer with lived experience, they co-deliver Working Together, drawing on their personal journey and sharing insights on living with Williams Syndrome, providing trainees with a practical, authentic understanding of person-centred support.
About Williams Syndrome
Williams syndrome is a genetic condition present at birth that affects individuals equally across all cultures and genders worldwide. It is characterised by medical considerations (including cardiovascular disease) alongside developmental and learning challenges. These occur side by side with striking verbal communication skills, highly social personalities, and a strong affinity for music.

Chloe Brindley, Senior Behaviour Analyst with Green Light’s Positive Behaviour Support Team, was honoured with the Innovation in Care award.
Recognised for her creative, evidence-based implementation of Positive Behaviour Support (PBS), Chloe continues to advance practices that enhance service delivery and the quality of life of the adults supported by the organisation. Chloe joined Green Light in 2020 after completing her Master’s degree in Applied Behaviour Analysis at Bangor University in North Wales. Relocating from the Midlands, Chloe completed her clinical supervision with Green Light to achieve Board Certified Behaviour Analyst certification and registration as a certified Behaviour Analyst with the UK Society for Behaviour Analysis.
