Green Light has developed packages of accommodation and support for people who need their own living accommodation, but with the opportunity to socialise, on their terms, with a small number of others with similar interests. The service as a whole is registered, regulated and inspected by the Care Quality Commission. Each person has their own accommodation, tailored to personal tastes and adapted where necessary to particular needs. Support is provided by a ‘core team’ of trained Support Workers and Senior Support Workers from the wider staff team. Leadership is provided by the Deputy and Registered Manager. This kind of service can be helpful for those who occasionally need a ‘change of face’ or whose team may at times need to refresh by switching with colleagues.
