Published by Jo on 11th March 2021

Hannah Rundle joined Green Light in January 2018, working with several Green Light teams, progressing to Registered Manager at ‘Tresleigh’ in Grampound Road shortly after the home was converted from a communal home into four self-contained two-bedroom apartments for four adults with autism.

Q: Where are you from and where do you live now?

A: Truro born and now live in Ladock.

Q: How did you hear about Green Light ?

A: I knew of someone who worked (and still) works for Greenlight, who spoke highly of the company and her career progression within the company.  I also saw lots of posts on Facebook. I liked the transparency.  There is nowhere to hide on social media, so in my opinion there was nothing to hide.

Q: Why did you decide to work for Green Light ?

A: Transparency.  I liked the team when I interviewed.  They seemed to back up in person the message that they were a supportive and person-centred company.  This was clear for their staff as well as those they were supporting.

Q: What is your previous experience of autism or learning disabilities?

A: I have worked in the care sector for around 17 years in both adult and young people’s services.

Q: Do you have any special skills/hobbies or interests?

A: I am a reiki master who adores nature. I have a very alternative holistic approach to care in all areas of my life. I’m also an avid reader.

Q: When not working what are you most likely to be doing?

A: Spending time walking with my family and dog or often found in my hammock, head in a book.

Q: What do you have on your bucket list?

A: To visit the Naica cave of Crystals in Mexico – What a wonder!

Q: Who is your hero or heroine & why?

A: My son and his outlook of life even in the most difficult of times. A genuine inspiration.

Q: What three words sum up your personality?

A: Positive, quirky  and open
