Green Light becomes a Bild ACT certified training provider
Kerry Gardiner, Registered Manager and Physical Intervention Trainer and Jo Pyrah, Green Light’s Managing Director today celebrated becoming a Bild Association of Certified Training [Bild ACT] Certified Training Provider, having demonstrated training complies with the Restraint Reduction Network Training Standards.
Kerry led Green Light’s application to become certified, presenting training to be carefully scrutinised by Bild ACT Assessors before presenting to an independently chaired Expert Panel at the final hurdle of the year-long process.
As part of their continuing professional development, Kerry and her manager and trainer colleague Natasha Gregovich, recently joined the very first cohort to study Practice Leadership in Reducing Restrictive Practices. This BTEC Level 5 Diploma qualification is the first of its kind in the UK.
Congratulations to Kerry and thanks to everyone who contributed towards Green Light becoming certified!
