Green Light is currently accepting applications for the position of Registered Behaviour Technician (RBT)

A Registered Behaviour Technician (RBT) is a professional trained to provide behaviour analytic support under the supervision of a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA).  RBT’s have specific technical skills, knowledge and competence in skills teaching, assessment, behaviour reduction, data collection and adhere to a specific ethics code of practice applying to their profession.

RBT’s work primarily with individuals who require skills development, or behaviour intervention support, often in settings such as homes, schools, clinics or community settings around the world.  While still emerging in the UK, Green Light has been pioneering this role in adult care services for individuals with learning disabilities, autism and challenging behaviour.

As an RBT with Green Light, you’ll collaborate with individuals and teams across and from various small homely settings, working under the guidance of a Behaviour Analyst and Registered Manager.  Your responsibilities will encompass aiding in assessments, collecting data, and assessing progress against established goals.  You’ll be involved in implementing skills development and behaviour support plans, all geared towards enriching capabilities, reducing harmful behaviours, and enhancing overall health, well-being, and quality of life.

Green Light’s RBTs are required to be Practicing Members of the UK Society for Behaviour AnalysisProfessional Standards Authority Regulated Register and adhere to the UK-SBA Code of Ethical & Professional Conduct.

RBT supervision and support will be provided by Green Light’s Positive Behaviour Support team of Behaviour Analysts, and the respective Registered Manager responsible for service provision.  A comprehensive induction program, including training in Positive Behaviour Support is provided.
