Q: Where are you from and where do you live now?
A: Cornish born and bred
Q: How did you hear about Green Light ?
A: That’s a funny story really. I was in the hospitality industry for 10 years previously and a colleague of mine randomly said to me that one of her friends had lasted a day at Green Light, because of the challenging behaviour side of things. Obviously not the job for her, I thought that sounds like the perfect job for me! And off I went home and filled in the application form. The rest is history!
Q: Why did you decide to work for Green Light ?
A: After I googled Green Light and read about the company I was super keen to get involved, due to the company ethos and values I had seen.
Q: What is your previous experience of autism or learning disabilities?
A: None – all the best Support Workers come from hospitality 😉
Q: Do you have any special skills/hobbies or interests?
A: I’m okay at playing pool I suppose; qualifying for The Ladies England team back in 2018.
Q: When not working what are you most likely to be doing?
A: Spending time with my 2 faves – my partner and my pooch (although pre covid we spend time with family and friends also)
Q: What do you have on your bucket list?
A: I need to make one, but just to be the best version of me!
Q: Who is your hero or heroine & why?
A: I don’t really have a hero but I look up to a lot of people in my life and my sporting hero is Ronnie O’Sullivan. If I was half the player he is I’d be awesome!
Q: What three words sum up your personality?
A: Fun, loving and funny (well I try to be!)
