As a member of the founding team Sarah joined Green Light in 2009 with over two decades professional experience of supporting people with autism and learning disabilities in a variety of roles from support worker, home manager to compliance officer. As Operations Director, Sarah leads Green Light’s operations team who provide coaching, guidance and support to home managers and teams.
Jo co-founded Green Light in 2009 with over two decades professional experience of supporting people with autism and learning disabilities, in a range of roles from volunteer, support worker, to home manager and director of services. Jo’s interest in autism, learning disability and the meaning behind ‘challenging behaviour’ led to studies in Positive Behavioural Support (PBS) an approach the founding team adopted and which continues to guide the company.
Jabe joined Green Light in March 2011 from another autism care provider as a support worker on our very first induction. Jabe went on to support a wide range of individuals with autism, epilepsy and other complex needs, before being promoted to Registered Manager, a role he held for four years. Jabe completed a Diploma in Leadership in Health & Social Care before being promoted to Operations Manager in May 2018.
Leanne joined Green Light in October 2011 from a national domiciliary care provider. Leanne has a degree in Social Science and Diploma in Leadership in Health & Social Care. Leanne has led a number of Green Light teams as Registered Manager before being promoted to Operations Manager in May 2018.
Heather joined Green Light in 2019 from the Care Quality Commission, where Heather specialised in the inspection and regulation of autism and learning disability services. With a keen interest in the development of systems that support services to achieve good outcomes for the people they serve, Heather now leads Green Light’s quality assurance strategy.
Michelle Brown joined Green Light as Human Resource Manager from the Headland Hotel & Spa in October 2020. Michelle now uses her recent Hospitality and earlier Health and Social Care experience to lead the company’s People Strategy. This aims to support and develop teams to achieve our aim; providing excellent outcomes for the people we support.
Finance Manager Jo Lucas Lake oversees the operational finance functions of the company. Jo is a qualified Chartered Accountant with experience in Health and Social Care finance and a longstanding interest in autism and learning disability services. As a founding team member Jo joined the company at inception in 2009.
We are now the work place of choice for some of Cornwall’s finest social care professionals; people in the ‘foothills’ of their careers in health and social care and others wishing to apply their ‘know how’ from previous jobs, careers and lives.
