Relief Support Worker Zeta Pearce joined Green Light in November 2022. Zeta has been working with our team at Huthnance Park a home in Nancegollan, which is led by experienced manager Helen Kendall from Penzance. The team support three adults with learning disability and autism. New roles are being created on the team in anticipation of a new person moving into the home to be closer to their family early in the new year. The Relief Support Worker role Zeta applied for was launched recently to accommodate those wanting to join Green Light in a flexible way. Relief Support Workers tend to ‘buddy up’ with full time team members as they support people going about their daily activities at home or out and about. It has been popular with those like Zeta who have fixed commitments but have some time they wish to do something meaningful with.
