Job Announcement: Behaviour Technician at Green Light

We are delighted to announce an exciting opportunity to join Green Light in the recently introduced role of Behaviour Technician.

Registered Behaviour Technician Jasmin Coles & Chloe Brindley, Behaviour Analyst

As a Behaviour Technician, you will play a key role in supporting individuals by implementing evidence-based support under the guidance of a Behaviour Analyst. This role goes beyond traditional support work, as you will not only assist with day-to-day care but also track progress to ensure continuous improvement and positive outcomes. Through structured support, you will help individuals understand and adapt their behaviour, empowering them to achieve meaningful and lasting changes in their lives.

Working ethically and with integrity is at the core of this role. You will be expected to adhere to the highest standards of practice, ensuring that all interventions are carried out with respect, dignity, and in the best interest of the individuals you support. Your work will be guided by evidence-based principles and supervised by experienced practitioners, ensuring the highest level of care is delivered.

This position is ideal for those with a curiosity for understanding human behaviour and a desire to explore the theory behind it. You will gain insight into how people learn and why they act in certain ways, using this knowledge to help individuals reach their personal goals. With specialised training and ongoing supervision from a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst, you’ll develop the skills needed to make a significant and lasting impact.

At Green Light, we are proud to offer comprehensive training and support to help you become a Registered Behaviour Technician. You’ll receive regular supervision, professional development opportunities, and the chance to work within an innovative and supportive team. This role offers a unique opportunity for growth while contributing to the well-being of the people we care for.

Green Light is one of the first adult care providers in the UK to introduce this forward-thinking role, and we are excited to welcome caring professional individuals to join us on this journey.
